Dykes, age 96, of Enterprise, AL passed away, Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Enterprise.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Christ Community Church with Revs. Johnny Bryant and Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2015.Mr. Dykes was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Dykes.Survivors include his daughters, Mary Gibson (Edsel); Miriam Mathews (Ray) all of Enterprise, AL; sons, Joseph Dykes (Mildred) Columbus, MS; Paul Dykes (Shirlie) Enterprise, AL; nine grandchildren, Dana Dykes; Derrick Dykes (Angela); Tim Gibson (Kim); Todd Gibson (Kim); Tom Gibson (Lori); Amy Scarborough (Stephen); Beverly Bethune (Greg); Brock Mathews (Amy); Melody Mathews; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank the Enterprise Health and Rehab and DaySpring Hospice for their care.
