James Ed Grimsley

Mr. James Ed Grimsley, 81, died on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Flowers Hospital.Graveside services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Meadowlawn cemetery with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating and Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 pm at Searcy Funeral Home.Mr. Grimsley was preceded in death by his parents, Lunie and Mae Grimsley; sisters, Sara Grimsley McIntosh and Mary Elizabeth Grimsley Broadwater and grandson, Grant Chandler Grimsley.Ed loved his God, Family and Country. He served 25 years in the US Army Reserve.Survivors include his wife, Joanne Grimsley, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Sharon Kaye Grimsley, Enterprise, AL; sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory Grimsley (Christie), Dothan, AL, James Grimsley (Maria), Madison AL; grandchildren, Amanda Grimsley, Nashville, TN, James E. Grimsley III, Hickman, KY with the US Coast Guard, Garrett Sean Grimsley, Madison, AL.
