Louise Palacios, nee Danford, age 83, of Brookfield, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Damascus Cemetery, Elba, AL. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Damascus Baptist Church, 774 County Road, Elba, AL 36323.Mrs. Palacios worked 40 years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Loyola Hospital. She was a Promoter and member of Brookfield Jazz Society.Beloved wife of the late Luis Palacios and Jim Callahan; fond mother of Mark (Lynn Nuzzo) Palacios, Diane (Eddie Rich) Palacios the late Alan Palacios; step mother of Nancy Greenfield, Susan Johnstone, Jim Callahan, Linda Kampe and John Callahan; grandmother of Alexis Rich, Carmen (Frank) Pangelinan, Eddie Rich, Luke Palacios, Noah Palacios, Corinne Kampe, Marissa Groom, Sean Kampe, Ryan Greenfield and Branden Greenfield; great-grandmother of Zoe Pangelinan and Steven Pangelinan: sister of Tom (Mary Ann) Danford.
