Homer Pettengill, age 63, of Level Plains, AL, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his home.Memorial services will be 2:30 pm, Monday, June 29, 2015 at St. Luke Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until service time at the church.Mr. Pettengill, along with his wife, owned and operated Opal Marble for 36 years.Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Pettengill, Level Plains, AL; daughters, Emily Stallsmith (David) Prosper, TX; Alison Pettengill-Fales (Matthew) Dothan, AL; Katie Pettengill, Level Plains, AL; granddaughter, Lauren Stallsmith; sisters, Madeline Stephens (Jerry) Livingston, TX; Elizabeth Webber (Angelo) Wadsworth, OH; Margaret Pettengill, Santa Fe, New Mexico; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Alva Graves, Enterprise, AL.
