Josephine "Jo" Devane

Josephine DeVane, age 62, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at her home.             A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 21, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Brad McLean officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: UAB Center for Palliative and Supportive Care, c/o The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Boshell Diabetes Building 420F, 1808 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35294-0012; or SOS Animal Shelter, 25944 Hwy. 84, Enterprise, AL 36330 or to Covenant Care Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303.             Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce DeVane.             Survivors include a sister, Beth Gay (Gill) Auburn, AL; two nephews, Joe Gay (Linda) Seattle Washington; Austin Gay (Rebecca) Madison, AL; four sister cousins, Ann Kamp (Rainer) Germany; Barbara Perry, Auburn, AL; Jennie Mordue (John) Mnhattan, NY; Suellyn Coker, Auburn, AL; special friends, Jimmy and Judy Yelverton and their family; numerous cousins and friends; her special dog,  "Pete".
