William Benjamin (Billy) Hildreth

Billy Hildreth of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Flowers Hospital. He was 78. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Enterprise with Dr. Ben Bowden and Rev. Billy Lutrell officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Billy was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved turkey hunting. He also enjoyed taking kids hunting. He was an avid Auburn football fan and Enterprise High School football fan. He was a 1956 graduate of Enterprise High School. He loved and cherished his football buddies. He had a deep love and passion for his grandchildren. Mr. Hildreth was preceded in death by his father, William Benjamin Hildreth and a sister, Marjorie Parmer. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gail Riley Hildreth, Enterprise, AL; son, Greg Hildreth (Delaine), Brunswick, GA; daughter, Hannah Mahe (Mark), Enterprise, AL; 4 grandchildren, Logan Hildreth, Hasten Mahe, Jake Mahe, Essie K. Mahe; mother, Betty Urschel, Rose Mary Beach FL; brother, Jimmy Hildreth Pinehurst, NC; numerous cousins.
