James Walter Rodney

James Walter Rodney, age 85, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his home.             Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor James Endrihs officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.             Mr. Rodney was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Peggy Rodney and a daughter, Darla Jean Morgan.             Survivors include his wife, Georgia Rodney, Enterprise; daughter, Cecile Pye (Richard) Enterprise; sons, Charles Rodney, Enterprise; Robert DeLong (Esther) Topeka, KS; Paul DeLong (Ida) Johnson City, TN; sister, Ruth Ann Riggs (Laron) Little Rock, AR; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also his caretaker, Lisa Lozano, Enterprise, AL.           The family would like to extend a special thank you to DaySpring Hospice for their loving care.
