Shizu Hirakawa Wilson

Shizu Hirakawa Wilson, age 91 of Daleville, AL, passed away, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Hawthorne Village, Brandon, FL.   Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the chapel of Searcy Funeral Home, Daleville, AL.  Private burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Vivian B. Adams School, 2047 Stuart Tarter Rd., Ozark, AL 36360.   Mrs. Wilson is originally from Nagasaki, Japan, but lived her adult life in Daleville, where she retired after many years working at the lunchroom at Daleville School System.    Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Wilson.   Survivors include her daughter, Jean S. Wilson, Brandon, FL; sons, Roy G. Wilson, Ozark, AL and Robert L. Wilson, Spring, TX; grandsons, David R. Wilson and children Douglas and Lilith, Mt. Vernon, OH; Joseph L. Wilson, wife Heather, and son Akai, Peoria, AZ; Andrew R.
