Sean Philip Whiting

Sean Philip Whiting, age 37, of Athens, AL (formerly of Enterprise, AL) passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016.             Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M., at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Michael Basham and Jim Parker conducting the service. Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL. The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.             Sean was born in Murray, Utah on September 9, 1979 to Rodney Whiting and Ruth Ann Whiting Spivey. Sean was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He graduated from Enterprise High School in 1998.             Survivors include his wife, Wendy Whiting, Athens, AL; his four sons, Kaleb Whiting, Enterprise, AL; Payden Whiting; Mason Whiting; Colton Whiting, all of Athens, AL; his mother, Ruth Ann Spivey (Branton) Enterprise, AL; his father, Rodney Whiting (Barbara) Casa Grande, AZ; brother, Ryan Whiting, Casa Grande, AZ; sisters, Jennifer Zuniga, Mesa, AZ; Amy Turvey, Ozark, AL; Molly Carey, Enterprise, AL; many nieces and nephews.
