Alver Lavoyd Dickerson

Alver Lavoyd Dickerson of Enterprise, AL, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation. He was 89. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Ashford City Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. Alver served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed gardening and carpentry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Christian “Slats” and Wilma Shaw Dickerson, and brother Manuel W. Dickerson. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Dickerson Campbell, Anniston, AL; son, Michael Dickerson (Leanne), Enterprise, AL; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
