Alys Jeanne Holley

Alys Jeanne Holley, age 94, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Ben Bowden officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Holley taught school at Hillcrest Elementary School for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years. Preceding Mrs. Holley in death were her husband, Joe William Holley, Sr. and a grandson, William Joshua Holley. Survivors include two sons, Joe and Jackie Holley, Enterprise, AL; Steve and Judy Holley, San Antonio, TX; one daughter, Martha and Joey Kreauter, Deatsville, AL; a sister, Edna Jo Chapman, Dallas, TX seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
