Anne Warren Bryars Black

Anne Warren Bryars Black, age 95, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018.             Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tonya Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.             Mrs. Black was born July 21, 1923 in Enterprise, child of Albert Brown Bryars, Sr. and Clem Warren Bryars. She was a 1940 graduate of Coffee County High School. She attended Huntingdon College and the University of Alabama. She was Executive Secretary of the Red Cross in Enterprise, AL.             Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband, George Black, a granddaughter, Leigh Anne Collins and a son-in-law, Fran Collins.             Survivors include her son, William Shostrom III (Bill) Dothan, AL; her daughters, Anne Collins, Sevierville, TN; Kimberly Stefaniak, Enterprise, AL; step daughters, Pattie Black Ducey (Mike); VeeVee Black Brown; grandchildren, Billy Shostrom: Alan Shostrom; Alex Collins (Robyn); Jeff Johnson; David Stefaniak (Holly); 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Brown Bryars (Jackie) Enterprise, AL; nieces, Susan Russell (Paul); Laura Harris; nephew, Bubba Bryars (Starla); several great-nieces and nephews.
