Barbara Blaise, age 68, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Graceville Health Center. She was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, graduated from Patapsco High School in 1972, and attended Eastern Nazarene College in Wollaston, MA, where she met the love of her life, Leon. She spent her days as a pastor's wife and epitomized sacrifice and service. She loved her church families, her sons & their families, and most importantly cats. She had a sweet tooth like no one you'd ever met. She made the best chocolate peanut butter brownies, was a master ping pong player, and could clip coupons faster than Edward Scissorhands. Her favorite car was a DeLorean because of her unique connection with Michael J. Fox. If she wasn't serving up school lunches, she was likely eating orange Tic Tacs or chewing on cinnamon flavored gum while making up her own lyrics to songs. To know her was to share a laugh with her. Most of all, she was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was the definition of a prayer warrior, and if you are reading this, she's probably prayed for you. Survivors include her husband Leon Blaise, Enterprise, AL; two sons Johnny Blaise (Katie), Coffee Springs, AL, and Jeremy Blaise (Lindsey), Jupiter, FL; parents Harvey and Hazel Hance, Bel Air, MD; sisters Donna Myers, Aberdeen, MD, Karen Hance, Aberdeen, MD, Janet Dunne, Abingdon, MD, Linda Manning, Aberdeen, MD; granddaughters Kasey, Reagan, Ashleigh, Emily, and Kaitlyn Blaise; grandsons Ryan (Maddie), Jackson and Julian Blaise; great-grandchildren Rhett and Rylie Blaise. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Bel Air Church of the Nazarene in Bel Air, Maryland.
