Ben Johnson of Daleville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Flowers Hospital. He was 66. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 3, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory Daleville Chapel with Pastor Cesar Ramirez officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until service time. He was a retired United States Army Helicopter pilot. He was a loving and devoted dad, brother and neighbor. His joy in life was to care for those going through dark times and life’s hard struggles. Ben was preceded in death by his father Carmen Lewis Johnson, mother Dolores Virginia High, a sister Sarah Lehman and a brother Chris Johnson. Survivors include his daughter, Amy Johnson, Daleville, AL; son, Brian Johnson, Daleville, AL; siblings, Carmen Ray Johnson, Colorado Springs, CO; Janis Siemers (Benjamin), Arkansas; Carol Hocking (John) Minot, ND; Tom Johnson (Margaret) Orlando, FL; Mary Millward, Orlando, FL; Lisa Baker (Lee) Virginia; Nancy Williams, Amherst, NH; Bill Johnson, Austin, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
