Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2024, at County Line Baptist Church, with Dr. Danny Wiggins officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church Monday starting at 12:30 PM until service time. Burial will follow at Enterprise City Cemetery. Philip was preceded in death by his parents, James Benjamin Martin and Avonia Morton Martin; sisters, Inez Moates , Berta Brabham Deese, Gladys (Taddie) Baggett, Tope Martin, Mary Love Turney, Zona Lee Mullins, Evelyn (Dee) Stanley, Elizabeth Sophronia Allen, and Anne Provost Kottman; brother, James Fernando Martin Sr. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Charlene Wassum Martin, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Anne Marie Martin Bliss (Daniel), Enterprise, AL; son, Edwin Thomas Martin; granddaughter, Elizabeth Danielle Bliss; grandsons, Stephen Philip Bliss (Alyssa), Benjamin Edwin Bliss, Kyle Matthew Bliss (Allie); great grandchildren, Amery, Matthew, Joseph, Denise, Lauren, Shaun, Kayden, Hallie; numerous nieces and nephews.
