Billie Jean Paschal Walls

Billie Jean Paschal Walls, age 86, left this world surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She worked tirelessly and selflessly taking care of her family and friends, especially her special child and “shadow” Cindy.  Our mother will be remembered for many things, but always for her unwavering kindness, gentle heart, extraordinary strength, and beautiful soul.  She will be sorely missed. Born in Enterprise, AL at Gibson Hospital on December 14, 1931, she is predeceased by parents, William Grady “Red” Paschal and Willie Bell Pridgen Paschal. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, William “Max” Walls; son, William “Greg” Walls (Cessie); daughters, Starlin Sellers; Melinda Polites; Cindy Walls; grandchildren, Allison Wilder (Jeff); Elliot Walls (Lauren); John Peter Polites and Madeline Polites “Doodlebug”; great-grandchildren, Mason and Molly Claire Wilder; Ethan and Cora Walls; sisters-in-law, Jane Schultz and Betty Owen; her beloved friend, Alma Chapman. Funeral services to be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
