With a fiery spirit, Brad entered the world in Tallahassee, Florida, on August 12, 1981. Brad was raised in Eufaula, Alabama graduating with the class of 2000 and afterward attending Auburn University. Among the hundreds of talents Brad possessed he was an avid sportsman, outdoorsman, and musician. A true adrenaline and adventure seeker, Brad loved firearms, hunting, rock climbing, skydiving, water diving, drones and motorcycles.

Brad graduated from the Alabama Fire College in 2003, heeding a deep calling to become a civil servant in public service and safety. His fire career began with the Eufaula Fire Department before transferring to the Columbus Fire Department where he worked until September of 2005.

After 2005, Brad’s patriotism and selfless sense of duty compelled him to serve in Afghanistan, Diago Garcia, and Iraq where he met his forever love, his wife Jenee’ (MSG, United States Army). Brad and Jenee’ were married on September 11, 2010 and later moved to Enterprise where Brad continued an exemplary fire career with the Fort Novosel Fire Department that began in May 2015.

Though Brad and Jenee’ embarked on many remarkable adventures with their beloved two dogs (Nala and Kaiser) their greatest adventure came with the birth of their baby boy, Cash, in July 2023. In all of Brad’s countless accomplishments and duties the role of father was well known by all to be his favorite. Brad wore the title of “daddy” most proudly and truly embodied everything it meant to be an amazing father. Alongside the love of his son, was the depth of love he possessed for his very best friend and “person”, Jenee’. Brad lived life in a way that was truly larger than life itself, a quality only outmatched by the love he had for his family and community.

Brad was a member of numerous groups and organizations within his public safety career to include but not limited to the Fort Novosel Fire Department, Houston County Rescue Unit (Scuba Diving), Quitman County Emergency Management (Director), Houston County Sheriff’s Department, an active member of High Pointe Church, as well as the Owner and Operators of High Cotton Aerial Photography.

Bradley is preceded in death by his grandparents and beloved father-in-law Keith Montgomery.

Survivors include his wife, Jenee’ Taylor, Enterprise, AL; son Cash Taylor; parents Ronnie and Julie Taylor, Eufaula, AL; two sisters, Kelly Young (Justin), Kim Sherrod, Wichita, KS; niece Jordan Turner; four nephews, Ian Hays, Jase Young, Ryan and Matt Sherrod; mother-in-law, Merrianne Montgomery, Nampa, ID.
