Carl Edward Martin

Carl Edward Martin of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 79.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Enterprise City Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Bryant officiating. Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Community Church, 1301 East Park Avenue, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Mr. Martin proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for 30 years. He later retired from civil service as a firefighter at Ft. Rucker. He enjoyed listening to Big Band Instrumental Music, had a deep love for reading and was a devoted Alabama football fan.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Johnson; 2 brothers, Joel Martin and Bill Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Wanda Martin, Enterprise, AL; two daughters, Melanie Johnson (John), Chancellor, AL, Shayni Martin Reagan (Sonny), Enterprise, AL; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Whitlock (Christy), Wicksburg, AL, Ashley Whitlock, Chancellor, AL, Morgan Kelley (Daniel), New Brockton, AL, Austin Whitlock (Aurora), Huntsville, AL, Jack Reagan, Enterprise, AL, Harper Reagan, Enterprise, AL; 9 great-grandchildren.
