Cw4 (Ret.) Thomas Kandler

Chief Warrant Officer 4 – Thomas Kandler (53), of Enterprise, AL, left us on August 16th, 2023. CW4 Kandler proudly serviced his country with over 20 years active duty in the US Army and another 10 years as an Army Civilian employee at Ft. Rucker, AL. Tom completed a tour of duty in Iraq (2008) and was awarded 2 Bronze Stars for his heroic service. A Memorial will be held at 11am, Sept. 15, 2023, at Raleigh National Cemetery; 501 Rock Quarry Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610. Tom is survived by his wife Lena Mae Kandler (AL); his son Thomas Kandler, II and his wife Samantha (NC); his daughter Erika Kandler (IL); his step-daughter Summer Bishop (CO); and his granddaughter Lilith Bishop (CO). Tom is also survived by his mother Carol Faires (FL); his father Gilbert Kandler (MI); 2 brothers Gerald Kandler and his wife Irma (TX), Daniel Kandler (FL); his sister Jannine Rogers (SC) and over 35 nieces/nephews & great nieces/nephews.
