David Bruce Deal

David Bruce Deal, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Dothan with Rev. Randy Sellers officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Mr. Deal was preceded in death by his husband Rex Everage; parents Willie and Johnnie Mae Deal; brothers Willie Deal, Willey Deal, Lewis Deal, Randall Deal, and Edward Deal; and sisters Mary Goodson and Martha Mullis. Survivors include sisters Sarah Womack and Betty Carpenter (David); brothers Billy Deal, Jack Deal (Phyllis), Johnny Deal, Jessie Deal (Martha), Tony Deal (Nona), and Donald Deal (Darla); sisters-in-law Verdelle Deal and Margaret Deal; and devoted friends and caregivers Ken Thomas and Nancy Lucas, and many other family and friends.
