David M. Howell, age 64, of Chancellor, AL passed away at his home, Sunday, August 27, 2017.             Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4015 Hwy. 27 S., Enterprise, AL 36330.             David was preceded in death by his father, James Loyd (Chick) Howell.             Survivors include a daughter, Shawn Marie Howell (Atlas Pittman) New Brockton, AL; mother, Olene H. Howell, Chancellor, AL; sisters, Kathy Howell Day (Charlie Abernathy) Enterprise, AL; Kimberly Howell Beck (Vance) Phenix City, AL; brothers, Kenneth Howell (Becky) Southside, AL; Clay Howell, Chancellor, AL; grandchildren, Pompy, Mary Beth, Amy, and Addie Pittman; special aunt and uncle, Wanda and Lamar Thornton, Enterprise, AL.
