David Denton Smith

David Denton Smith of Dothan, AL passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at his home. He was 69. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Enterprise Chapel with Rev. Matt Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 P.M. until service time. Mr. Smith worked for Bayline Railroad for 32 years as a conductor. He loved Alabama football, Yankees baseball, rock and roll music, visiting the beach and most of all his family. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Smith and brother, Billy Smith. Survivors include his wife, Marsha Smith, Dothan, AL; daughter, Rachel Faulk (Billy), Headland, AL; son, Sonny Smith, Atlanta, GA; grandchild, Georgia Louise Faulk, Headland, AL; two cats, Basket and Koko Puff.
