Donald Godwin

Donald Godwin, age 79, of Daleville, AL, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018.             Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Eva City Cemetery in Eva, AL with military honors and Bro. Dale Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wiregrass Christian Camp, PO Box 311072, Enterprise, AL 36331.             Mr. Godwin retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service and served two tours in Vietnam.             Survivors include his wife, Janice Godwin, Daleville, AL; son, Donald Gregory Godwin (Amber), Newnan, GA; two sisters, Mary Coker; Patsy Hucks, both of Scranton, SC; two grandchildren, Reese and Lily Godwin.
