Dorothy Elaine Wood, age 79, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Thursday, January 28 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Charles Jones and Dr. John Granger officiating. Burial will follow in Goodman Assembly of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James Randall Wood, her parents, Charlie and Mae Adkison, two sisters, Daisy and Ora Mae Wallace, seven brothers, James, Charles, Evon, Leon, Braxton, Winston and Max. Survivors include her sons, James Lamar “Spud” Wood (Jackie); Tony Dale Wood; seven grandchildren, Lesley (Chris) Maciel; Blake (Mallory) Wood; Lance (Jennifer) Wood; Chasity (JB) Thomas; Ryan Wood; Aspin Maulden; Dillon (Rachel) Maulden; eight great-grandchildren, Ava and Emma Maciel; Griffin and Emmalyn Wood; Brantley and Grayson Thomas; Max Maulden; Millie Maulden.
