Edward Lloyd Cheshire

Edward “Lloyd” Cheshire of Chancellor, AL passed away, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at his home. He was 83. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 16, 2023 at El Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Kimbro officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to El Bethel Baptist Church. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Sarah Cheshire and a brother Larry Max Cheshire. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Kelly (Brian), Sparks, GA; son, Tony Cheshire (Karen), Coffee Springs, AL; three granddaughters, Lindsey Kelly Troupe (Israel), Valdosta, GA; Haley Cheshire Morris (Marc), Coffee Springs, AL; Katelyn Cheshire Jester (Logan), Enterprise, AL; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Karol Nichols and Janice Kay Chancellor, both of Chancellor, AL; brother, Thomas Leon Cheshire, Dothan, AL; numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Logan Jester, Marc Morris, Israel Troupe, Todd Chancellor, Brian Cheshire and Tommy Huguley.
