Elizabeth Daniel Foster, 99, of Birmingham, AL passed away on May 12, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. “Coach” Foster, father, Francis Daniel, and mother, Luella Daniel, brother, Francis Daniel, sister, Avalon Daniel Slade, and brother-in-law, Ralph Slade. She is survived by her son, Edward Foster of Opelika and daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Foster Damato of Birmingham; grandchildren, Michael (Tiffany) Foster, Matthew (April) Damato, Frances Franks, and Ashley (Kevin) Whitfield; great-grandchildren Sydney and Jack Pritchard; Paxton Franks; Amy Kate, Lucas and David Damato; Tinsley, Colton, and Jackson Whitfield, and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Foster was a long-time resident of Enterprise and taught at Mt. Pleasant Junior High School. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Searcy Funeral Home with graveside services following at Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caretakers at Danberry Assisted Living in Birmingham, Alabama and sitters Jackie, Maggie, Sharon and Terry.
