Ellen "Ruthie" Bonner

Ellen “Ruthie” Bonner of Daleville, AL passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at her home. She was 90.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Jim Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Bonner was preceded in death by her husband Alton Wright Bonner, son-in-law Billy Medley, a daughter-in-law Missy Cobb, and a grandson Todd Saylor.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Medley, Daleville, AL; two sons, James Cobb (Julie), Daleville, AL; Kenny Layman (Mary), West Middlesex, PA; three grandchildren, Allen Medley (Brandy), Daleville, AL; Jody Medley (Kacie), Geneva, AL; Ambrea Fannin (Matt), Tallassee, AL; eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ashley (Marcus), Kayla (Will), Marlie, Braden (Alexis), Alli, Hunter, Abby; three great-great-grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, and Abel.
