Eva Yvonne Gooden, age 72, of Opp, AL, passed away, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Troy Health and Rehab, Troy, AL. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, September 4, 2020 at Peaceful Acres Cemetery in Opp, AL with her nephew Adam Mikel officiating. Mrs. Gooden was a retired school teacher, having taught kindergarten for over 36 years at Red Level, Kinston, Florala and Fleeta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Gooden and a grandson, Logan Gooden. Survivors include her two sons, Stan Gooden (Garian) Andalusia, AL; Doug Gooden (Anna) Troy, AL; sister, Debbie Scarbrough (George) Wicksburg, AL; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
