Gary Lomax Jones

Gary Jones, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Friday, March 21, 2025 at his home. He was 85.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 24, 2025 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, Enterprise, AL with Pastor Johnny Bryant and Pastor Joey Turman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to DaySpring Hospice Foundation, Inc., 1275 James Street, Suite A, Enterprise, AL 36330, or Christ Community Church, 1301 East Park Avenue, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Mr. Gary loved fishing, listening to music, and working with electronics. He treasured time with his family, enjoyed reading, and was a devoted Alabama football fan. Always tinkering, he found joy in learning and creating. He will be remembered for his love of life, family, and his many passions.

Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Jones; parents, Harry and Myrtle Jones; sister, Shirley Moore; brother, Wayne Jones; and, brothers-in-law, Jim York, and Don Moore.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Christine Jones, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Tana Warren (Matt), Enterprise, AL; four grandchildren, Sierra Rice (Mitchell), Enterprise, AL; Parker Warren (McKenzie), Troy, AL; Mattison Warren, Enterprise, AL; Taylor Warren (Kobe Williams), Enterprise, AL; two great-grandchildren, Bella and Braxton; sister, Martha York, Chancellor, AL.
