Gaynell Holladay Young

Gaynell Holladay Young, 86, passed away on August 6, 2018 in Enterprise, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Kendrick Young; her son Kenny Lane Young and grandson, Zachary Lane Young and her parents, Willie and Carrie Holladay, brothers, Hugh, Ethell, and Lomax Holladay. She is survived by her son Dr. G. Alan Young (Tammy); grandchildren, Kelsey Rayne Young (Kenny Young); Ally Mackenzie and Nicolas Alan Young (Alan Young); and many nieces and nephews.Mrs. Young was devoted to God, family and friends. She was director of Accounting Services at Baptist State Executive Board for 31 years. Mrs. Young also helped her husband build his business, Young’s Air Conditioning and Heating until his death in 1991.Mrs. Young’s family would like to thank Enterprise Health and Rehab, Southern Care Hospice and Medical Center Enterprise, for the wonderful care you gave her.A graveside service for Mrs. Young will be held, August 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM with a visitation to follow at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.  Phone: (334) 272-6501.
