George Stephen Goins

George Stephen Goins, age 70, of Daleville, AL, passed away, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his home.             Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 10, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory at the Enterprise Chapel. Burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home, beginning at 12:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to WWVC, www.gofundme.com/Handicap-Cabin.             Steve Served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. He was a crew chief on a Huey and did Medavac (Dust Off). He was shot down 6 different times during his service in Vietnam.             Survivors include his wife, Debbie Goins; daughter, Christy Goins; son, Eric Goins and his fiancé, Simone Lofton, all of Daleville, AL; four grandchildren, Michael Allen Schaefer and his fiancé, Veronica Gonzales; Shawna Marie Schaefer; Andrew Harrison Goins; Caitlyn Smith; three great-grandchildren, Dawson Smith; Sofia Schaefer; Vega Canalone.
