Hilda Martha Forehand

We are sad to announce the passing of Hilda Martha Forehand age 91, of Enterprise Alabama. Mrs. Forehand died April 30th peacefully at her home surrounded by family. On Thursday May 6th there will be a viewing at 1:00 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 at the First Assembly of God Church in Enterprise with Pastor Shawn Crosby officiating and Eulogy by Pastor Sonny Moore and immediately following a graveside burial at Meadowlawn Cemetery. Hilda was a crusader for Christ and lived every minute of her life serving Him. She was an outspoken Christian, who was invited to speak at Christian conferences all over the country. Earlier in her life she was an Interior Decorator in Enterprise. Hilda Forehand was preceded by Hilliard M. Forehand who she met in grammar school, they were sweethearts with a marriage of 52 years. Mrs. Forehand was born in Coffee County, where she lived most of her life. Growing up she lived for a few years in Florida and a short time in New York. Survivors include a daughter, Fran Forehand of Enterprise; three sons; Charles Forehand and his wife Teresa Forehand of Enterprise; Joe Forehand and his wife Cheryl Forehand of San Diego, California; Dan Forehand and his wife Beverly Forehand of Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Forehand was the Grandmother of eight Grandchildren; Gabriel Forehand, Lydia Forehand, Jessica Shauklas, Blake Forehand, Drew Forehand, Lindsey Forehand, Wade Marsh and Amanda Icenogle, nine Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
