J. L. Hutto, age 73, of New Brockton, AL, passed away, Sunday, May 14, 2017 at his home.             Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Ron Hutto and Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 16th from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.             He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha E. Cobb and father, Henry Hutto, brothers, Jimmy and Joel Hutto, sisters, Mary Louise Wesley and Peggy Hix.             Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Karpinski, Acworth, GA; sister, Joyce Adams; brothers, Dan Hutto; Sammy Hutto; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
