Jacqueline Anderson Jones

Jacqueline Anderson Jones, of Chancellor, AL, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Flowers Hospital, at the age of 80. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, CST, Monday, January 24, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Howard Moore and Rev. Joel Snell officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Jacqueline “Jackie” Anderson Jones was born on December 17, 1941 in Orlando, FL to the late Hub and Rosalie Anderson. She will be remembered for her kind and caring labors of love. Her passion was being with family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always said “what happens at grandma’s, stays at grandma’s”. She always had a story to share at our gatherings and we all would be tickled with her jovial tell of the story. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Jones and her husband, Walter Ray Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Davis (Charles), Chancellor, AL; two sons, Tommy Jones, Chancellor, AL; Greg Jones (Deena), Coffee Springs, AL; three grandchildren, Michael L. Jones; Morgan Jones; Bryant Davis; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Stills; Barbara Vonier; and many nieces and nephews.
