Jacqueline McKenzie, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at her home. She was 74.

She dedicated over 20 years of her life to working at Walmart, where she was known for her kind heart, work ethic, and the genuine care she showed to her coworkers and customers alike. Her commitment and service touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Outside of work, Jacqueline had a variety of passions that brought joy to her life. She was an avid woodworker, spending countless hours creating beautiful pieces with her hands. She also had a deep love for reading, enjoying books that spanned a range of genres and subjects. When she wasn’t reading or working on her woodworking projects, Jacqueline could be found crocheting and quilting, often gifting her handmade creations to friends and family, which were always cherished. In her free time, Jacqueline enjoyed playing video games, an activity that brought her both relaxation and fun, as well as spending quality time with her loved ones
Mrs. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents Olean Walker and Voncile Motley Walker, along with her two sisters Vickie Taylor, Peggy Godfrey and brother George Walker.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jimmy McKenzie, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Charlene Dean, Enterprise, AL; son, Jimmy McKenzie (Margaret), Elba, AL; sister, Teresa Walker, Bonifay, FL; four grandchildren, Alex Williams, Tristan Dean, Megan Wright, Olivia Jones; 3 great-grandchildren, T.G., Tilly, Fallon; along with several nieces and nephews
