James David Averett

James David Averett, age 56, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his home.             Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Derek Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 15th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Red Mountain Grace, PO Box 382562, Birmingham, AL 35238.             He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolan and Clara Averett.             Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Rena Averett, Enterprise, AL; three daughters, Maggie Downs (Randy) Austin, TX; Abigail Kles (Zach) Athens, GA; Anna Harrington (Daniel) Panama City, FL; three granddaughters, Landry Rena Harrington; Clara Rose Downs; Harper Avery Kles; one grandson, Coyle James Harrington; three sisters, Debra Nicholson (Rick) Elba, AL; Janice Davis, Enterprise, AL; Donna Pennington (Earl) Chancellor, AL; one niece.
