James Edward Gibson

James Edward Gibson, age 80, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Southeast Health.           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 12, 2020, at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: New Home Baptist Church, 2734 County Road 617, Enterprise, AL.           Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Ramsey.           Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Paulette Gibson, Enterprise; daughter, Ramona Kelsoe (Bill) Enterprise; sons, Jody Gibson (Meloni) Enterprise; Eric Gibson (Cindy) Elba, AL; 7 grandchildren, Kortnie Baxley (Sean); Kaylyn Beard (Chris); Richie Sanasarian; Jared Gibson; Mallory Gibson; McKinley Gibson; Wade Gibson; 3 brothers,  Edsel Gibson (Mary); Jerry Gibson (Betty); Danny Gibson (Debbie); 4 sisters, Margaret Strength (Louis); Syble Strength; Elaine Clarke (Dykes); Teresa Deal (Gary); numerous nieces and nephews.   To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of James Edward Gibson, please visit our flower store.
