James Howell Meredith, age 92, of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Yale, Michigan.             Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45 A.M. until service time Saturday, at the funeral home.             Mr. Meredith was preceded in death by his parents, Votie and Lena Meredith, his wife, Cleo Wilson Meredith, two sons, Lewis Lee Meredith and Gregory Daniel Meredith, two brothers, Melvin Meredith and Rudolph Meredith and a sister, Joanna Bradley Smith.             Survivors include two sons, David Keith Meredith and his wife, Carolyn, Yale, MI; James Wilson Meredith and his wife, Mary, Lake Orion, MI; a daughter-in-law, Gail Meredith, Mason, MI; two brothers, John William Meredith and his wife, Kay, Enterprise, AL; Bobby Meredith and his wife, Lou, Enterprise, AL; several nieces and nephews; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
