James W. "Hooker" Miller, Jr.

It is with a mixture of sadness and joy, sadness that he is no longer with us but joy that he is finally at peace and out of pain, that I announce that James W. “Hooker” Miller Jr. has finally won his battle with cancer. After 3 and a half years of fighting like a Delta Warrior. Those who knew “Hooker” knew that he was one of a kind, in that I mean we will never know anyone like him. Not only was he an amazing Bass player, the original L.A Playboy, he was a former Delta Force, Apache pilot and helicopter flight instructor with almost 28 years of service to our great country. I could go on and write a book about how awesome “Hooker” was, but if you had the honor of meeting and or knowing him you already know. He leaves behind his wife Lois, sons Jeremy and Joey, daughter Samantha and Step daughter Megan, sisters Sheryl and Klorese. Hooker made the request that instead of a funeral he just wanted a Celebration of Life, so we invite anyone who would like to attend to please come to his home at 4467 Campground Road Ozark,AL 36360 on April 28th 2-6.
