Jim Thacker

Jim Thacker of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 81. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Ben Bowden and Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Florida Baptist College, 5400 College Drive, Graceville, AL 32440. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Thacker, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Tracy T. Bright (Chip), Gainesville, GA; 2 sons, Tony Thacker (Annette), Montgomery, AL, Brian Thacker (Kendra), Panama City, FL; 5 grandchildren, Hana Bright, Sara B. Bagley (Jimmy), Shelby Bright, Brian James Thacker, Alyssa Thacker; 2 great-grandchildren, Ellison and Carson.
