Joel M. Martin

Joel M. Martin of Enterprise, AL (formerly of Elba) passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in Enterprise. He was 73. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Ino Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Garry Winstead officiating. The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DaySpring Hospice, 100 Professional Lane, Enterprise, AL 36330. Joel was an avid Auburn fan and a little league baseball coach for his boys when they were growing up. He had a big heart not only for his sons, but also cared for their teammates and their friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lurlene Martin and a brother, Hugh Martin. Survivors include his wife, Sheila Carnley Martin, Enterprise, AL; three sons, Matt Martin (Jennifer), Panama City Beach, FL, Gabe Martin (Misty), Enterprise, AL, Gavin Martin (April), Enterprise, AL; 8 grandchildren, Chandler Martin, Connor Martin, Madison Luckett, Kaylee Martin, Ashlyn Martin, Avery Martin, Macey Martin, Hudson Martin.
