John Allen Morris

Retired US Air Force Lt. Col. John Morris of Chancellor, AL passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at his home. He was 82. There are no services scheduled at this time. John retired from the US Air Force after 32 years of service as a pilot. During that time he served in Vietnam. As an Air Force pilot, he flew several different types of aircraft. John loved spending time with his friends and family. He also was an avid animal lover. At the age of 82, he was the oldest member to be baptized at First Baptist Church of Enterprise. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne Morris. Survivors include his daughter, Tonia Morris Rose (David); son, Brian Morris (Cheri); 2 grandchildren, Liam Olson and Rachel Olson; a sister, Elizabeth Morrow (Lance); 2 brothers, Thomas Morris (Glenna) and Garry Morris (Karen); and numerous nieces and nephews.
