John W. Meredith, age 79, of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Medical Center Enterprise of natural causes. He was born July 9, 1942 in Enterprise. The family will have a private memorial at home instead of a funeral. His ashes will be buried in Meadowlawn Cemetery with his wife, Sharon Kaye Meredith of Enterprise, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, Votie Lewis Meredith and Lena Iva Robertson of Enterprise, AL, one sister, Joanna Smith, four brothers, Bobby, Melvin and Rudolph Meredith of Enterprise, James Meredith of Michigan, and one grandson. Survivors include his son, Scott Meredith (Sherrie) of Enterprise, daughter, Denise Anderson (Jackie) of New Brockton, AL, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
