Joseph Wade (J.W.) Edwards

Joseph Wade (J.W.) Edwards of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 71. He was born in Georgia on April 18, 1948 to Clyde Holt Edwards and Mary Caroline Heery. He retired after serving in the United States Army for 46 years between active duty (CW4) and civil service and completing college. Funeral services will be 11 am CST, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Luttrell officiating and Searcy Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be 11 am EST, Monday, August 12, 2019 at Ft Mitchell National Cemetery in Seale, AL with military honors. Survivors include: his daughter, Valerie Edwards Behrnes (Adam Behrnes), Duncan, OK; 5 sons, Joshua Edwards (Kiera Edwards), Jacksonville, NC, Justin Edwards, Enterprise, AL, Jeremy Edwards, Enterprise, AL, Jason Edwards (Jill Edwards), Broken Arrow, OK, Joey Edwards; 3 grandchildren, Logan George Behrnes, James Wade Edwards, and Oliver Wade Edwards; and his older brother John Edwards (DeeDee Edwards), Greensboro, NC.
