Judith Gail Palmer Miller

Judith Gail Palmer Miller, age 71, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 21, 2019.  She was born February 15, 1948 in Bishop, VA to Harry and Gertrude (Robinson) Palmer.  Judy graduated with a BA from Radford University, a MA from Troy University and PH.D from Vanderbilt University.  She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glenn Palmer and Gerald Palmer and by her loving husband Robert “Bob” Miller.  Judy is survived by her daughter Amanda Daugherty; three grandsons, Robert Bradshaw, Drew Daugherty and Rhys Daugherty; brother, Gordon Palmer (Rita); sister in law Kevie Miller Ayers (John) as well as several nieces and nephews.   Family, friends, and others whose lives Judy touched are invited to Searcy Funeral Home, 1301 Neal Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL, from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm on Monday, April 29, 2019 to reminisce.  A family service will also be held on June 7, 2019 at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
