Julia Ann Tackett

Julia Ann Tackett of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Flowers Hospital. She was 82. A Celebration of Life well be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at El Bethel Assembly of God, New Brockton, AL with Pastor Steve Comer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the El Bethel Assembly of God, 11629 Highway 51, New Brockton, AL 36351. There will also be a Celebraton of Life held in Lebanon, VA at a time and place to be announced later by Pastor Rick Thompson. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Darvin Tackett; two sons, Randy Tackett and Darvin Tackett, Jr.; her parents, Herbert and Bonnie Heaton; brothers, Darrell Heaton, Burie Heaton, and Fred Heaton; sisters, Garnett Benson and Diane Kiser; grandsons, Mark Thomas Snead and Derick James Tackett. Survivors include her four children, Deborah Kennedy (Lee), Enterprise, AL; Donnie Tackett (Ginny), St. Augustine, FL; Teresa Gilmer, Emory, VA; Gary Tackett, Damascus, VA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; a great-great-great grandson; two sisters, Dorothy Smith, Lebanon, VA; Cathy Massie, Rosedale, VA.
