June Magaline Baker

Mrs. June Mageline Charsha Baker went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was 90 years old. 

Mrs. Baker was born on June 14, 1934, in Perryville, Maryland to the late Joseph Hemple and Mary Ellen Angle Charsha. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Baker, Sr., and daughter Rebecca Ann Hash. 

 Survivors include her daughters Penny Karnes, Chesterfield, VA, Candace Walton (Tim), North East, MD, Mary Pridgen (Steve), Chancellor, AL and one son, Howard Baker, Jr., Claymont, DE. 

 She had seven grandchildren, Keith Dalgarn (Susan), Charlestown, MD, Kass Walton, Louisville, PA, Shannon Karnes, Hayes, VA, Alicia Karnes, Richmond, VA, Kimberley Karnes, Chesterfield, VA, Eric Baker, Claymont, DE, and Christina Baker, Claymont, DE. 

 She also had nine great-grandchildren, Madison Dalgarn, Charlestown, MD, Adam Dalgarn, Charlestown, MD, Domenick Rathof, Charlestown, MD, Harrison Rathof, Charlestown, MD, Cecily Rathof, Charlestown, MD, Hazel Johnson, Chesterfield, VA, Brooklyn Johnson, Chesterfield, VA, Anthony Baker, Claymont, DE, and Ann Baker-Eminger, Claymont, DE. 

 Special niece Mary Faye Parker Morello (Jim), Jackson's Gap, Alabama, other nieces and nephews as well as the entire John Quincie Pridgen family, Enterprise, AL who loved her so well for 46 years. 

 Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Searcy Funeral Home, Enterprise, Alabama, and Hicks Home for Funerals, P.A., Elkton, Maryland. Burial will follow at Asbury Methodist Cemetery.
