Kim (Pyong Sun) Boyett

Kim (Pyong Sun) Boyett, age 85, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at First Korean Baptist Church of Enterprise. Kim was born in Pyongyang North Korea in 1938. She was number 6 of 7 children. The driving forces in her life were being a wife, being a mother, and being a Christian. Her greatest joys were feeding people and helping others. Kim could be tough but always pushed herself and her children to be good and do good things. Her history of survival made her tough as nails with a compassionate loving heart. She never forgot where she came from which made her a very proud woman. She also never forgot what she went through which made her very generous and loving women. She was always willing to help to anyone in need. Kim never forgot her Christian roots and one of her proudest accomplishments was working with Reverend Kim and so many others to start the First Korean Baptist Church of Enterprise. She should be remembered for how much she loved her family, how much she loved her church and how much she always wanted to help others. Mrs. Boyett is preceded in death by her husband MSG James H. Boyett. Survivors include three sons, James C. Boyett (Charlene); William (Bill) K. Boyett (Shirley); Robert (Bobby) L. Boyett (Dewey); five grandchildren, Dori Boyett, Jimmy Boyett, Michael Boyett, Courtney Boyett and Ashley Boyett; six great- grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
