Lavita Jones Moore, age 85, of Montgomery, AL, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 28, 2020 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Stephen P. King officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sutherland Moore, her parents, HC and Maudine Barnes Jones, two brothers, Raymond Jones and Harold Jones and a sister, Hazel Jones Rowe. Survivors include a sister, Willa Dean Jones Parrish; nephew, Don R. Parrish (Delcina); two nieces, Connie Parrish King (Stephen); Kay Parrish Pacheco (Michael); great-nieces, Leslie Ann Parrish; Rebecca King; Amanda King; Chandler Pacheco; great-nephews, Austin Parrish; Henry Pacheco; great-great-niece, Katherine King.
