Leon Adkison

Leon Adkison, age 80, of the Goodman community passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Goodman Independent Church (Goodman Assembly of God) with Rev. Randall Pearson and Rev. Bruce Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home Sunday from 4 to 6 PM.  Memorials may be made to the Goodman Independent Church Cemetery Fund, 217 County Road 614, New Brockton, AL 36351. Leon was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Adkison and their daughter, Jan Adkison. Survivors include his wife, Grace Adkison; three daughters, Linda Savage (Guy), Judy Hanson, Tami Jones (Larry); two sons, David Adkison (Lolita) and Jason Adkison; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Elaine Wood (Randall); Daisy Wallace; several nieces and nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
